Leftists thought, "If only we could get rid of God, we would be living in a world like Star Trek. It's these damn morals and the lack of a utilitarian worldview that's been holding us back."

Only now they've largely removed God from society. Law was supposed to be the backdrop that could hold things together. Not the Ten Commandments law, but "modern law." Only now, modern law has been made illegitimate with the conviction of Trump.

But... but... Star Trek! No, quite the opposite is true. Get rid of God and all of the absolute worst attributes of man are considered "normal."

Those who wish to get rid of God are broken people, they're not going to calmly come to some consensus on moral relativism. They're going to become what people always become without some moral compass.

What ensues is chaos and tyranny. It's always the same.

The illegitimacy of law is how the prosecution of true criminals within the government will fail.

Just as Trump was convicted on made up noncrimes, true criminals will be found not guilty of real crimes.

Keep up all your great work on our behalf, Patrick! Would that we had some more real Journalists like you, not just Deep State Technocratic Stenographers and Sock Puppets who, ironically think they're "cutting edge" "speaking truth to power". (Remember that oldie but goodie from the days 50 years ago this summer when we were all given the pablum that our "Courageous Fouth Estate" saved the country fron the evil King Richard of Nixon?!)
